Why you should flush out your Power Steering Fluid

At one time or another, most drivers encounter a problem with their power steering system. These problems can be anything from a fluid leak, noise, stiff steering or hard turning after first starting the car. Under normal driving situations power steering fluid breaks down due to heat, friction and chemical breakdown. The high pressure created when you hold hard turns is especially damaging.

Your power steering fluid, which starts out clear, eventually turns dark with age. Sludge and varnish deposits build up in your power steering system and affect the easy turning and responsive handling you expect from your vehicle.

Experts have found that by servicing your power steering fluid every 36 months you can help to eliminate these problems with your car.  Our power steering fluid flush safely removes varnish and sludge deposits and metal debris that slowly grind away at your power steering systems internal components, including the power steering hoses, pump, rack and pinion and/or gear box. Our power steering fluid flush thoroughly cleans your vehicle's steering system and protects it with fresh power steering fluid and conditioners that revitalize the seals and o-rings.

Experts recommend that the power steering system be flushed every 36 months or 36,000 miles. If your vehicle's power steering is showing signs of contaminated fluid, try this service before expensive major repair work becomes necessary.

Why you should Flush your Brake Fluid

Believe it or not, your brake fluid does require maintenance; this is because brake fluid becomes contaminated by moisture.

How does moisture get into your brake fluid? Brake fluid is hygroscopic, which means that it attracts and absorbs moisture from the atmosphere, usually through the brake master cylinder reservoir and permeable brake hoses.

Moisture contamination lowers the boiling point of your brake fluid, so even under ordinary driving conditions, moisture could cause the fluid to boil and release vapor bubbles into your brake system. When this vapor compresses inside the system, you may find yourself facing a most dreaded driving crisis… a dangerously low brake pedal or no brake pedal at all!

Moisture contamination can also result in very costly repairs, especially if you have ABS type brakes. When moisture contaminated brake fluid reaches very high temperatures, as much as 450-500 degrees, an electrochemical reaction makes the fluid highly acidic. The acid breaks down the steel lines and rubber hoses and can cause early failure of the cast iron and aluminum components in the brake system.

Brake fluid contamination has become so much of a concern; car manufacturers have added brake fluid service to their required maintenance schedules. Auto Experts recommend performing this service every 36 months or 36,000 miles.

Why You Should Perform a Fuel Injection and Air Induction Service

Since you purchased your new vehicle, dirt, varnishes and especially carbon deposits have been forming in your fuel system including your fuel injectors, valves, combustion chamber, throttle housing and the air induction intake. These buildups can rob your vehicle of performance, and fuel economy and if left untreated, these buildups can lead to costly repairs.

Symptoms related to carbon build up are:

  • Engine pinging
  • Hesitation
  • Poor acceleration
  • Lack of power
  • Hard starting and stalling
  • Rough idle
  • Poor fuel economy

By routinely cleaning your fuel system you can prevent these harmful deposits and maintain your cars performance and fuel economy.  Our Fuel System Cleaning and De-Carbonization Service is a revolutionary process that will clean your vehicle's fuel system, and remove and prevent these harmful carbon deposits.

After our Fuel System Cleaning and De-Carbonization Service cleans your engine, you will notice improved performance, acceleration and increased fuel economy.

Auto experts recommend performing this service every 30,000-35,000 miles. (This service is recommended more frequently if you perform mostly short driving trips, or stop and go driving.) Cleaning your vehicle's fuel system is the best way to keep it driving as it should.

Why you should Flush out your Transmission Fluid

Transmission fluid is like every other fluid in your car… it too wears out.  Just like engine oil in your car's engine, automatic transmission fluid suffers from heat, friction and chemical breakdown, and like engine oil, sludge is also a factor. In fact, nearly nine out of ten transmission failures are due to overheating and fluid contamination.*

But not all transmission services are the same. Unlike oil, which can be completely drained from your car's engine, most transmission fluid cannot be drained.  Only the fluid that is in the transmission oil pan is drained during normal transmission services. Most transmission fluid stays in the torque converter, valve body and transmission lines, making a complete fluid drain impossible. Typical transmission service removes only 35% of the contaminated transmission fluid. By only draining part of the fluid, your only fixing part of the problem!!!

By performing a complete transmission fluid flush you can safely exchange all (97%) of the worn fluid, contaminated fluid (even the fluid in the torque converter) as well as varnish and sludge deposits. Our transmission fluid flush service cleans the transmission cooler and lines, valve body and torque converter and also removes those wear metals that slowly grind away your transmission’s internal components. Our transmission fluid exchange thoroughly cleans your car's transmission and protects it with fresh fluid and conditioners that revitalize the seals and o-rings.

Experts recommend changing transmission fluid every 30,000 miles (50,000 miles if the fluid is synthetic) If it’s been more than 30,000 miles it may be time for a transmission fluid flush. It may help you avoid the cost of major transmission work or even prevent the need for a new transmission.
